Tonk creates original country music that is heavily influenced by the great masters of the late ’60s to mid ‘70s such as Ray Price, Merle Haggard and Johnny Paycheck. Their album “Let’s Keep It Dark” was released in November 2013 to wide praise. After a string of 2014 shows on bigger stages with acts such as the Steep Canyon Rangers and Chatham County Line, the band is back in the studio working on their second full length entitled “Second Nature,” which is being produced by Dave Wilson from CCL.
